Spent 4 hours writing it and waiting for images to upload only for the page to close and kinja to have only saved the headline. I’ve been on OPPO for 4 years and this may be the second time where I’ll have to take a break for a couple months and wait for kinja to get updated again and be us able. Currently mobile is acceptable for browsing, very brief posts, and nothing else.
Kinja mobile has been worthless this past month, hamburger is unresponsive half the time, when it does work your notification bar is hidden under chromes search bar. Not properly saving what’s written in a draft. Having posts load at the time you started Writting it instead of when you tell it to post(20 minutes later)
It is said that there has been a drop in quality content and I believe a part of it has to d o with kinja mobile getting more and more frustrating over the years. You cant make long posts for fear of kinja loosing it if your conn ection drops. I know that making quality content, or writing a story is no longer an option due to image upload times and the fear of kinja being kinja. Also kinja takes at least twice as long as other sites to upload the same image, often time it will exceed 5 minutes for me to upload a single image captured with the phones cam.

This site is the main reason I wish my computer didn’t take a shit. I quit posting not because I dislike oppo, but because kinja is a royal pain in the ass on mobile.

I tried to post two pictures of an SLS and whenever I uploaded the second, the first one went off. I gave up. Kinja on laptop and outside the municipal office to steal their wifi..

It’s quite irritating. And instead of fixes we get our *stars* turned into *recommendations*. Thanks.
But.... It’s also free, and for all kinja’s flaws, I much preper it to absolutely any forum as far as creating content goes. Most of them have such poorly formatted mobile sites that writing anything over a paragraph can take half an hour trying to get everything in the right place. And don’t get me started on uploading photos....
Anyways, hope you managed to salvage a lot from the Lexus. Have you thought about plans moving forward yet?

After I had that happen once to me a while ago (after a big update) I started typing Everything in Google Docs first. It's way too risky and upsetting.

U ploading images to C lubLexus is how im g auging kinjas failure.
The next step will be buy another sc400 this next weekend(throw some savings account Into a fire) , if what I get passes smog then I swap the manual trans over. If it dosent then Then the current Lexus will get it’s motor, front clip, and wiring.

I've copied everything I write every 5 minutes but it's a hassle and if you press the wrong button everything is deleted. I'd do it on doc's but since images take so long to upload I need to write while they load

I can’t say I’ve ever posted from my phone, probably only ever even browsed from it once or twice, but that is frustrating. The desktop publishing page is buggy but for the most part not too awful to deal with (it’s a safe idea to copy/paste any long posts into Word or something though before hitting ‘publish’).

Post recovery had been really good for the past year until this update. The worst that would happen is a photo would be missing. That being said I never actually trusted it

R emember the old days of MS Word/Excel where you had to remember to save frequently in case the app/OS froze or crashed? Kinja is just trying to be nostalgic in necessitating you save drafts frequently when composing longer posts.

I prefer Android, but I stick with Apple because I can’t seem to make any Android phone last longer than about 4-6 months. I’d totally go Android if the phones weren't shit.

Ki nja is the site format for OPPO, jalopnick etc , kinja mobile is a glitchier version for phones
